This comprehensive in-office Employee Safety Compliance Program® is designed by our ESCP Director, Nancy Garcia, RDA to bring individual offices into compliance with OSHA, CDC, DBC, EPA and SB 198 regulations. There are several programs from our "OSHA" Readiness Inspection to the full 4-Phase Compliance Program, depending on the need of each practice.
We have implemented our program in over 300 medical and dental offices, and have experienced several OSHA inspections in which our clients passed with flying colors!
Phase I: "OSHA" Readiness Inspection
Our ESCP Consultant will inspect your work place for areas of non-compliance,
safety and health hazards, proper procedures and required documentation.
Phase II: Staff Training (2 C.E. Credits included)
OSHA requires that all staff members be trained in safety precautions and procedures.
Contents include occupational exposure, clinical procedures, the new OSHA regulations,
hazardous material identification labeling and disposal, employee safety training
and required documentation. Our ESCP Consultant will provide the current staff
training and the format for new employee training and documentation.
Phase III: In-Office Implementation
Working side by side with your designated staff member(s) "Monitor"
in your office to implement the necessary changes to bring you into compliance
and establish an ongoing program. Included are the required posters, customized
compliance manual and labeling system.
Phase IV: Compliance Evaluation
A final, in-office inspection is conducted to evaluate the new procedures and
compliance, and to make any necessary modifications. After passing the final
inspection, the office will receive the Certificate of Completion and one year
free phone consultation and manual updates.
For those clients that have been through our training program, we offer an annual update training session which meets the OSHA requirements. Each year when you are due, we send a "recall" reminder to schedule an AST. Our ESCP Consultant begins with an "OSHA" Readiness Inspection to ensure everything is still in compliance, followed by an all-staff training session. One C.E. unit for the staff training and a year of free phone consultations and manual updates are included.
We offer several programs for new clients based on their current situation and needs. The programs range from an initial inspection and report to a more in-depth staff training and implementation program tailored to the office's level of compliance.
Of course, we are available for specific needs such as new employee training, periodic check-ups or as a liaison with OSHA should an OSHA inspection occur.
